This amazing photo, which oozes “summer,” from fab reader Ben Marsh:

Ben will be receiving a Golden Half Camera, Four641 Map Case and a grab bag of film from the generous film-loving folks at Four Corner Store.

Special thanks again to my fellow judges, Jena from Modish and Pashoncoop from Day and Night Blog. We received some amazing submissions and thank every single one of you who participated.

Golden Summer Giveaway!

Hello My Kittens,

Who likes cool free stuff? I know I do. That’s why I am excited to announce that the super awesome folks at Four Corner Store are going to provide one of my lucky readers with free film goodies. If you’re not familiar with Four Corner Store, they offer a variety of plastic cameras and film, including Holgas, pinholes, the Blackbird Fly and others.

In honor of summer, I would like you guys to submit your best summer film photos. You can interpret this theme loosely, as long as it feels like summer. Submissions will be judged by myself, the lovely Jena from Modish and super amazing music/art/culture blogger Pashoncoop from Day and Night Blog.

The winner will receive:

  • Four641 Map Case: heavyweight cotton canvas bag to hold your maps, journals & toy cams
  • Grab Bag of Film: a mix of new, expired and effects film in 35mm to play with in your new cam

The Rules:

1. Submissions must be shot on film. Please provide the camera and film you used with your submission.

2. Submissions must evoke a feeling of summer. This does not have to be literal, but your photograph should convey the theme.

3. Submissions must be your own photographs. Please do not submit on behalf of someone else.

4. Email submissions with (maximum size 1200 pixels for the longest edge) to istillshootfilm@gmail.com with the subject, “Golden Summer Giveaway.” Do not use the Tumblr submit form, as your submission will not be considered.

Submissions are open until August 10th!
