I just got a free enlarger from my high school but it is for 4x5 negatives so is there any way that I can use/convert it for 35mm film?

Depending on what type you have your enlarger should already work with 35mm negatives, you would just need a 35mm negative holder. Open up the head of the enlarger and you should have 3 levels: one for 35mm, one for 120, and one for 4x5. Just move the lens to the appropriate level.
